The record set by another Laker legend will take LeBron James 20 seasons averaging more than 20 points per game. He played 11 seasons in Cleveland where he achieved his highest average of 27.2 points per match. In his 4-year spell in Miami where he won two NBA Rings, the "King" went for 26.9 points. As a Laker, LeBron averages 26.1 points, but that's acceptable having in mind his years of age. He is a fantastic all-around player who is capable of taking multiple roles in a game. His sports longevity is one of a kind as he continues playing on a high level at 37 years of age. It seems that it's only a matter of time before we see the mythic record of most points in the NBA getting broken. If LeBron James continues playing like these, he might even go beyond the 40,000-point mark which would ne an incredible achievement. The "King" aims at getting his fifth NBA title this season, but it will be harder than he imagined.
