Ghana's David Abagna scored in Ordabasy's 4-1 demolition of Kaysar, sealing the 2026 Kazakhstan Cup at Turkestan Arena.
Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna added a cup final goal to his résumé, finding the net as FC Ordabasy swept past FC Kaysar 4-1 to claim the 2026 Kazakhstan Cup at Turkestan Arena.
Ordabasy wasted no time imposing themselves. Sultanbek Astanov struck in the seventh minute to give the Shymkent side an early lead, and Bjorn Johnsen doubled it in the 41st minute. That put Ordabasy in a commanding 2-0 position at the break.
Abagna made it three in the 60th minute, finishing off a move started by Johnsen, who supplied the assist. Elkhan Astanov then made it 4-0 in the 71st minute, and the contest was effectively settled.
Kaysar did pull one back late through Agostinho in the 84th minute, but it changed little as Ordabasy saw out the win and lifted the trophy. The final strike leaves Abagna with one goal in four Kazakhstan Cup appearances this season, and a decisive one at that.
